Here’s some pretty amazing news – the original composer from Jet Set Radio, Hideki Naganuma, is actually joining the Hover: Revolt of Gamers team.

Developed in house by Midgar Studio, a French indie team, the game is certainly giving a lot of people that Jet Set Radio vibe both in visuals and thematics. Now, it’ll be the complete experience with Naganuma at the helm of music, bringing that fresh and rebellious sound.

Naganuma-san had this to say in the new update on their Kickstarter:

“It was love at first sight. Hover has hot graphics and a cool worldview. At first glance, I felt like I’d love to make music for Hover. This feeling’s been a long time since Jet Set Radio Future.”

The game is currently on track for a release on PC, Mac, Linux, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, although there are stretch goals in place to also bring the game to Wii U, and even double the game’s city size.

The game was funded on Kickstarter, although you can still back it by heading on over to their campaign.
