Versus Evil and developer Stoic Studio have announced the release window for The Banner Saga 3.

The third entry in their hand-painted tactical RPG series will launch sometime this summer for Windows PC and Mac. Alongside the release window confirmation is a new trailer, which you can view above.

The new trailer, the first in a series of character trailers, introduces a new character Fasolt, a Varl that is described as “the loyalist.” Here’s a brief synopsis for Fasolt:

Varl loyalist, Fasolt is the first warrior we review. What are his true motives and will he turn his back on civilization in their greatest time of need in revenge for wrongs past?

The Banner Saga 3 was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter for roughly $416,000, and will be the final entry in their series.
