Pictured above, Square Enix has revealed the North American box art for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, their upcoming next-gen reboot for their previously failed MMORPG.

This box art is a very dark and different look compared to its Japanese counterpart, which has more of a “traditional” Square look to it. Over on the official forums for the game, director and producer Naoki Yoshida expressed how proud both he and the team are of the Playstation 4 version:

“We’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished on the PlayStation®4, and as we set out on this world tour, we’re looking forward to sharing with players around the globe all the cool features offered by this new version of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn.”

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn enters open beta on February 22nd, with a full launch to arrive on April 14th.
