In June, the Magic: The Gathering – The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth set was all people could talk about. Between cards getting a look and card rarity, that is all most Magic fans could talk about. Within a short amount of time, even non-Magic fans started to get into the Magic: The Gathering – The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth set.
With a bounty of over 1 million dollars, scalpers and card enthusiasts around the world set out to find the One Ring. Now, the Magic: The Gathering – The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth One Ring had two variations, a normal variation and the elusive 1 of 1 One Ring.
Today, American rapper Post Malone became the proud owner of the One of One One Ring card.
In a TikTok posted by Brooktrafton, you can see the holder of the One Ring meeting with Post Malone and showing off the card. Despite being graded by PSA at a PSA 9, many fanatics and card enthusiasts still feel that the One Ring is still in circulation.
At the moment, it is not known exactly how much Trafton sold it for but it is believed that it was purchased for over 2 million. a comment in the video states that the card was sold for 2.6 Million but until either men confirm it, it is speculation.
In the TikTok video’s description Trafton states:
“When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was Post Malone,” reads the video description. “I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life changing. I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do. This is my dream come true, meeting Post Malone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale.”
Post Malone is a Magic fan
For those who are unaware or surprised by this, Post Malone is an avid magic fan. In fact, last year, Post Malone collaborated with Wizards of the Coast for the Secret Lair x Post Malone set. The items had two different themes:

For Secret Lair x Post Malone: The Lands, not only did we collaborate to place his iconic tattoos into the scenery, he also handwrote the flavor text, which we then printed on every card. There are no other lands like these in the entire game—this is a totally unique way to express yourself for both fans of Posty and Magic alike.
