So back in April we learned that Tecmo Koei and Nintendo were developing a new Fatal Frame game for the Wii U, and there was much rejoicing – or in this case, cowering in fear at how much sleep we’ll lose.

Now, the first teaser trailer for the official Fatal Frame movie has surfaced, reinforcing how big of a push both companies are making for the franchise. Featured above, you can check out the live action rendition of the game, which is based off the events of the game’s story.

The movie is going to air in Japan on September 26th.
