Tetsuya Nomura and Mega Man Collaboration Announced for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate just keeps on getting more crossover collaborations, at this point it might border on parody levels of fanservice.

The latest collaboration for the upcoming entry in the popular monster slaying series is not just one, but two new collaborations. Featured above is the first, a Mega Man crossover that was recently confirmed by Capcom at this year’s New York Comic Con.

You’ll be able to don your Palico with Mega Man styled armor, complete with a Rush Hammer weapon, which is obviously a nod to the Blue Bomber’s robot dog companion.

Capcom also confirmed that Square Enix creator Tetsuya Nomura is going to do a collaboration that seems to pertain to armor as well, since he’s all about collaborations these days. Perhaps we’ll see extra spiky pieces of armor replete with belts?

I think capcom are doing this mass promotion of megaman because of the potential threat of mighty no.9.

And yet they still will not just make a new Mega Man game like everyone wants them to. So weird. They KNOW the market is there, but they won’t tap into it. It’s like they’re terrified of success.
