Microsoft have announced Tetris Effect: Connected during the Xbox Games Showcase.

Expanding upon the original Tetris Effect, Connected adds an all new multiplayer mode which allows players to face off or collaborate. The trailer features a three-way split screen with other players being able to drop their tetriminos in order to clear the space of their friends.

Tetris Effect: Connected will be made available on the Xbox Games Pass, and the multiplayer modes will be made available for free next year in early 2021.
