Terraria-Like Airship Q is Flying to Playstation Vita in 2015

Airship Q came onto my radar back in September, when the game was confirmed to be playable at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

Featured above, you can view a brand new trailer for the game that also solidifies a vague 2015 release window. In Airship Q, you are thrown into a randomly/procedurally generated world, in which you play as a human-turned-anthropomorphic-cat, and to return to normal you must find the beautiful empress. Oh, and you fly around in an awesome personal airship.

You can learn to master the craft and trades in the game by making your own weapons, items, and even your own vehicles. There are lots of obstacles to overcome amongst regular baddies, dungeons, puzzles, and formidable bosses that you’ll have to strengthen yourself for. There’s also a multiplayer component in which you can enlist your friends help in building or fighting together.

The game was successfully crowdfunded via Japanese kickstarter-like website Makuake. Miracle Positive Co. is the indie studio handling the crafting of the game, while Cygames are handling the publishing rights on PlayStation Vita.

It’s still not quite clear whether or not Airship Q is making its way to western PlayStation Vita owners, but with all the consideration put into English friendly promotional materials, I’d like to think they’re considering it. I’ve reached out to Miracle Positive for clarification on that issue.
