Re-Logic has confirmed that Terraria is getting a massive update on Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, and Xbox 360 this week. The update, version 1.2, will be hitting all three platforms on April 17th, Re-Logic announced via the official Terraria Facebook page.
This total overhaul of the game came out for PC last October, and it will be free for all Terraria owners on consoles. Update 1.2 has all of the same features that were released to PC, but it also comes with a few differences that are exclusive to consoles. The 1.2 update brings with it a ton of bug fixes, new recipes and items, various tweaks to mechanics, gameplay, graphics and even NPCs. You can check out the full list of changes here.
While Terraria has been available for PC since 2011, it is now available on a slew of other platforms including iOS, Android, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, and Xbox 360. A sequel, Terraria 2, was confirmed last October.
