Terraria for Consoles is Getting 1.3 Update Later in 2017 Alongside Switch Version

Pipeworks Studio has confirmed that Terraria’s console versions will finally get the latest build of the game, sometime later this year.

The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions are getting the 1.3 update sometime in Q4 of this year, which has been available for the PC version for several years. Featured above, you can view a new video where Pipeworks developers talk up the new update on the modern consoles.

It’s worth pointing out the Nintendo Switch version is expected to ship alongside this update. The update will unfortunately not be coming to the previous console releases across PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, the Wii U, and the Nintendo 3DS. The update brought with it new furniture, potions, an Expert mode, and even new events like Slime Rain and Martian Madness.

Terraria is currently available for a multitude of devices and platforms, including: PC, Mac, Linux, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStaion 4, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and finally both iOS and Android.
