Mistwalker Corporation has announced their smartphone RPG, Terra Battle, has topped over 2 million downloads worldwide – meaning the game is officially getting a console port.
“We are truly humbled to see Terra Battle achieve this milestone. As every player download expanded both the scope of our game and our imagination to create a richer experience for the fans,” said Mistwalker founder Hironobu Sakaguchi. “With the console game of Terra Battle underway and the next phase of the Download Starter campaign in motion, we are eager to see how the game will evolve in the coming months.”
Featured above, a new video was revealed to celebrate the new milestone for the game. Previously, we knew the game would be coming to consoles, but only if their “download starter” campaign had proven successful. Alongside the new video was the confirmation for an in-game event, running from today until May 4th, where players get a free single energy per day.
While details for the console version are scant – we do know Mistwalker will be sharing more details in the near future, as well as new rewards for their download starter campaign, as it progresses.
