When will the game be released?
This remains the million-dollar question! It has been widely anticipated that the game, which has a working title of Terminator Survival Project, will be released this year, however, no official date has been pinned down. We have only seen a CGI teaser which gives a glimpse of the type of gameplay you can expect, but as soon as we have a confirmed date for its release, we will share it with you.

Like the Terminator films, the video game will center around the last vestiges of humanity trying to ward off the ruthless machines who will destroy everything and anything that stands in their way. You will assume the role of the humans who have survived to date, and this could bear resemblance to some of the State of the Decay games, although it could be said that Skynet terminators are a little more dangerous than zombies.
Regardless, the game will be set in between two major events spanning the game – Judgment Day and John Connor leading the resistance. Terminator evokes strong memories of those memorable catchphrases uttered by Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, and it holds a special place in sci-fi cinematic history.
Indeed, Terminator has transcended popular culture, and it has also made an impact in other industries. What have the developers said?
So far, the developers have been rather tight-lipped about the release of the game, although they have divulged a few details about the game.
A statement read: “The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic open world and features an original story that builds on the events of the official films.
“You play as a group of nuclear apocalypse survivors fighting to stay alive in a time period between Judgment Day and John Connor’s resistance.”
Where will you be able to play it?
It is expected you will be able to play this game on Xbox and PS5, and there could be an early release of it on Steam.
