Capcom has announced Teppen, their long-running card-battling game featuring characters from all their beloved franchises, is shutting down.
The cross-franchise card-battling game is shutting down on March 30th, 2026 upon which a new update will convert the game to an offline version. Users will be able to transfer their play data to the offline version, too
However, it’s worth noting the offline version will only be available for a month from its shutdown date through April 30th, so fans will have to act fast.
“Today, we have an important announcement. As stated on the official website, TEPPEN will end service on March 30th, 2026,” Capcom said in the announcement. “We would like to thank everyone who has played TEPPEN, and everyone who has contributed to the excitement and momentum around the game.”
While the game is sadly coming to an end, Capcom has “various campaigns and events” through Ranked Matches, online tournaments, Adventure, and more for users to enjoy until the final shutdown date.
Teppen was originally released for smartphones worldwide back in 2019 and was a joint production between Capcom and GungHo Online, the latter of which is known for the popular Puzzle & Dragons series. It became noteworthy from its insane roster of characters from various Capcom IPs, even some that haven’t been seen in ages.
