Tencent subsidiary Lightspeed Studios announced they’ve acquired Destruction AllStars and Switchblade developer Lucid Games.

Lucid Games have not only their own original games like the aforementioned titles above, they’ve also worked on many third-party games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Sea of Thieves, Nightingale, Apex Legends, and more.

While they’ll be another Tencent subsidiary, Lucid Games will enjoy “full independence” with the games they create – as well as the operation of their studio, while getting the support from LightSpeed Studios’ global network and technology capabilities.
