Tekken 7 continues to go on strong over six years since its initial launch back in 2016.

Series director Katsuhiro Harada announced that the latest title in the series has managed to reach over ten million copies sold.

He also confirmed the Tekken franchise as a whole to have reached over 54 million total sales, which also makes it one of the most popular video game franchises in history.

Back in June, it was reported that Tekken 7 had passed nine million sales, meaning that in the past six months the game has managed to sell one million copies alone.

The sales for the fighter confirm it had a very strong pace, and certainly a positive sign for the series as Tekken 8 is on its way.
