Tekken 7 to Get iDOLM@STER Costumes to Celebrate Series’ 10th Anniversary

While an official localization for a game in The Idolmaster series is probably never going to happen, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Idolmaster-themed costumes are coming to Tekken 7.

Featured above, you can view a trailer which showcases the various costumes worn by the idols themselves, including Chihaya, Haruka, Hibiki, Iori, Miki, Takane, Yayoi, and Yukiho. (Editor’s note: it’s worth mentioning that Bandai Namco publishes the Idolmaster games in Japan).

These costumes are being released in Tekken 7 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of The Idolmaster series. In case you got excited to see Paul Phoenix in drag, you’ll have to wait another day as his tease in the beginning is quickly shot down with “Cannot be used in the actual game.”

Tekken 7 is currently available in Japanese arcades, with a western location test coming this month.
