Tekken 7 Polish Fighter DLC Teased, Available Early Spring 2021

Tekken 7 Polish DLC character

Bandai Namco Entertainment have a Polish DLC character for Tekken 7; during the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable #2.

While little was shown, we know the character will be a woman, and Prime Minister of Poland. During the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable #2 livestream, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada explained (translation: DualShockers) how the character came to be.

Originally he traveled to Poland to organize a then upcoming tournament in 2020. However, with the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine orders, this was cancelled. Harada joked he went sightseeing on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s budget.

The new character was developed in collaboration with the Polish embassy in Japan, and inspired by how the nation had several female Prime Ministers. What little we do see shows she has a no-nonsense attitude, and deep reverence for her station and country. Other details about the character will be revealed at a later date, along with the 19th DLC character.

This mysterious new character will be available early Spring 2021. You can find the teaser announcement trailer below.
