Remember Hyrule Warriors, that Dynasty Warriors style game that featured Link from The Legend of Zelda? It was announced late last year, and we haven’t really heard anything since, unfortunately.
However, Yoichi Erikawa, the president of Tecmo Koei, is pretty confident in the game they’re developing, as he is aiming to sell over a million copies of the title. In an interview with Nikkei, he said the following:
“Alongside our Dynasty Warriors fans, Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda is also a wildly popular series with a very large fan base, and I think both properties will create a great new dynamic. However, due to The Legend of Zelda’s huge worldwide fan base, we’re aiming to sell more than one million copies worldwide.”
The original reveal came with a teaser trailer for the game, and it showcased pretty much everything the game was about. Although there aren’t that many enemy types, the game already looks pretty far along.
Hyrule Warriors is set for a release on Wii U sometime this summer.
