Techland Unveils Dying Light 2 Skill Trees

Dying Light 2 Skill Trees revealed

Techland unveils the Dying Light 2 Skill Trees.

One of the most highly anticipated titles of 2022 is set to release in less than a month. February will be a busy month for gamers with multiple AAA titles set to release. In February, gamers can look forward to the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Horizon Forbidden West, Destiny 2 The Witch Queen, and Elden Ring; these are just a few of the titles gamers are excited to release within a 30-day time span. With less than a month until its release, Techland has unveiled the Dying Light 2 skill trees. The new Dying Light 2 skill trees may surprise Dying Light fans.

In their latest trailer, Techland has showcased the two Dying Light 2 skill trees for Aiden Caldwell. Unlike the skill trees from the first Dying Light, the Dying Light 2 skill trees will focus on Combat and Parkour abilities; that means survival skills have been eliminated from the skill trees.

While playing through the game, the player will earn experience by completing specific in-game actions or quests. Doing such will increase either of the two skill trees’ experience bars. Below, we will cover some of the skills showcased in the trailer for players to utilize.

Dying Light 2 Skill Trees

Combat Skills

Block Charge –  While blocking, charge at an enemy in front of you. Doing so will tackle them to the ground.

Perfect Parry – players who time their blocks at the right time will stagger their opponents. This mechanic allows players to break out of defensive situations and fight back.

Ground Pound –  When performed in mid-air, the player will slam the ground and stun enemies around them.

Players can combine skills to be more efficient. Using the combat skill Grapple allows the player to throw their enemies. Once the enemy is down, combining the skill Stomp allows the player to execute the enemy instantly.

Parkour Skills

Far Jump – use any obstacle to maneuver through the environment, spring from it, and jump further.

Bash – smash through obstacles and enemies without stopping.

Tic Tac – run alongside horizontal surfaces.

By using the Dart skill to increase their running speed. Using the Dart skill combined with Double Jump, the player can vault over obstacles.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human, published by Techland, launches on February 4, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version).
