Media Molecule has confirmed that roughly 50% percent of Tearaway Unfolded, their newly revealed Playstation 4 port of the PS Vita original, is brand new content.
The news comes via a recounting of a hands on preview (presumably behind closed doors) that IGN had with developer Media Molecule, describing the game as if it was a complete remake for the Playstation 4. You can view that preview here, but no footage for the game was shown.
However, a number pertaining to the amount of new content was finally divulged:
“They didn’t want to commit to a quantification of it, but there’s like 50 percent new. There’s a lot more stuff in there.”
A release date was not announced for Tearaway Unfolded.
