The Crackling Voltage event is currently underway in Pokemon Go. Alongside the electrical event, an evil organization casts a dark shadow over the land. From February 1st to February 5th, trainers can participate in the Team GO Rocket Takeover Event. The event will introduce a new Special Research task called Shadowy Skirmishes. During the event, Team Rocket Leaders and Giovani will have new Pokemon on their teams. Trainers will be able to catch new shiny variations of some of their favorite Pokemon.
