Sega revealed that another character from The Irregular at Magic high School will be joining the ever-expanding roster of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition. Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba’s older brother, will be joining the lineup sometime this fall in arcades in Japan.
While he was included in the first release of the game as a support character, he will be making the move to a fully playable character for the Ignition release. In fact, Tatsuya and Miyuki will both be able to be used as playable or support characters.
In combat, Tatsuya will be using his Silver Horn Custom “Trident”, making use of both magic and melee attacks. Much like his style of combat in the series, many of his main physical attacks will be focused in kicks.
While his standard attacks and mix-ups won’t be using his signature long range weaponry, his height will be a big advantage when it comes to reach. He is supposed to move mostly at normal speeds during combos, but he will be able to make use of his speed to instantly get in close to an enemy, giving him plenty of mix-up potential for new and veteran players.
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition is currently available in Japanese arcades, and Tatsuya will be joining the battle in fall.
