• Tara Strong defends AI art despite being against it for voice actors

    Voice actress Tara Strong recently posted a picture of AI generated artwork featuring Dora the explore and some amalgamation of the Powerpuff Girls.

    The tweets (now since deleted) were posted by Strong on her personal Twitter account. There was a swift response from cartoon and animation fans who have overwhelmingly come out against the use of generative artificial intelligence to replace artists and voice actors.

    Fans were particularly quick to point out Strong’s changing (if not hypocritical) stance towards generative AI after she posted last year about her concerns regarding the voice acting industry.

    Tara Strong is known for her roles such as Timmy Turner in The Fairly Odd Parents, Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony, and more.
