Bandai Namco took to their official YouTube channel yesterday to post a new teaser trailer for Tales of the Rays, a new Tales series game for smartphones.

The game was first announced back in December, but this new trailer sheds some more light on the game, including the two leading roles and some gameplay.

As of right now, the new characters announced are Ickx Neve (VA: Natsuki Hanae) and Mileena Weiss (VA: Haruka Terui). The few gameplay clips shown have Yuri Lowell and Luke fon Fabre in them as well, from Tales of Vesperia and Tales of the Abyss respectively. There are some brief shots of dungeon exploring as well as some combat, that appears to use some form of the Linear Motion Battle System.

There’s still no release date in sight yet, but Tales of the Rays looks like it’s shaping up to be a more traditional Tales game.
