A new interview has confirmed Bandai Namco has even more Tales of remasters in the works, and the next reveal will be coming soon.

The new interview with series producer Yusuke Tomizawa was done ahead of Tales of Xillia Remastered launching next week, confirming a Tales of Xillia 2 Remaster is already in development.

Furthermore, the interview had Tomizawa tease that the next Tales of remaster game will be revealed soon, though a specific timeline wasn’t given. The interview confirmed the two remastered games in development have moved from the verification stage to final development, suggesting both are nearly done.

Another interesting tidbit revealed in the interview is that over 70% of fans for the Tales of series are from outside of Japan. This is not due to a decrease in Japanese users, rather the difference in the global world population and hardware units in use overseas.

Tales of Xillia Remastered is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5 with a release set for October 31st.
