Publisher and developer Bandai Namco has announced they’re shutting down Tales of the Rays, their mobile spinoff RPG.

Tales of the Rays is shutting down on July 23rd in Japan – a bit over seven years since the smartphone spinoff launched way back in 2017. The overseas version was only available for a year after its debut.

All in-game currency for the smartphone spinoff has ended as of today and as a thank you to fans of the game, a special campaign will run from May 22nd until a final story scenario is released in July.

Lastly, an offline version for Tales of the Rays was announced and it will also release sometime in July. Players will be able to import some of the data from the online version when it launches.
