It seems the next Tales of game to be remastered will be Tales of Eternia Remastered, according to a newly discovered rating for the game in Europe.
The new rating for Tales of Eternia Remastered was spotted over on the Pan European Game Information ratings board, suggesting it’s the next game to be remastered in HD.
Originally released for the PlayStation back in 2000 for Japan, Tales of Eternia is the third main title in the franchise and was later released overseas in 2001 (and was called Tales of Destiny II in North America).
While several Tales of remasters have been released already, series producer Yusuke Tomizawa pledged to consistently release more remasters and more recently teased they would finally remaster older games from the franchise.
The most recent remaster was actually a modern game comparatively speaking – Tales of Berseria Remastered – was released back in February 2026. A remaster for Tales of Xillia 2 is also in development.

Content specific issues
This game contains depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human and fantasy characters. Players defeat pixelated enemies using magical attacks and will wield weapons such as daggers, spears, swords and axes. Violence can be frenetic with exaggerated and colourful impact-like effects. Players have a health bar which depletes when hit and characters can be heard and seen in a non-detailed way reacting to pain upon impact. If a member of the player’s squad is defeated in battle, they will remain on the ground, whilst defeated enemies typically quickly vanish. This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’.
