Bandai Namco has announced Tales of Crestoria is shutting down in February 2022, roughly a year and a half since its release.
Tales of Crestoria is shutting down on February 6th, 2022 at 9 AM Pacific / 12 PM Eastern, while the game was originally launched back in July 2020 for iOS (via the App Store) and Android (via the Google Play Store).
Details regarding the shut down of the game weren’t shared – however it seems like these smartphone RPGs tend to get shut down after a year or two – likely due to cost of upkeep and an increasingly smaller playerbase.
Lastly, the Tales of Crestoria manga will start a weekly rotation starting with the December 13th volume, as opposed to its previous bi-weekly schedule.

We will be keeping the servers open until 14:00 Feb 07, 2022 JST, so please continue to enjoy TALES OF CRESTORIA until the very end.
All items can be used until the last day, so if you have any items or Gleamstones in your account, please use them before Feb 07, 2022.
Also, from today, we are disabling the purchase of Gleamstones.
