Bandai Namco Entertainment have revealed a new trailer for Tales of Arise during the Tales of Festival event.
The game had previously been delayed indefinitely, due in part to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. This also caused the Tales of Festival event to be delayed to March 6th, 2021 (and be a purely digital event) from 2020. Producer Yusuke Tomizawa had also previously confirmed he would like to reveal more about the game in 2021.
The game takes place on the world of Dahna, where they have worshiped the nearby planet of Rena for 300 years. This reverence lead to the people of that world exploiting Dahna for resources and servitude.
Now, a former slave of Dahna- robbed of his memories and bound in an iron mask- has teamed up with a young woman born from Rena. The pair seek to overthrow the oppression, with the young woman using her abilities to unleash the power of the slave’s sword.
The end of the trailer also notes that more information about the game will be revealed in Spring 2021.

For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom.
