Bandai Namco announced a Tales of Arise cookbook, which they’ll be giving away for free but only via a digital release for the recipe tome.

The Tales of Arise cookbook is coming to fans that sign up to the Bandai Namco newsletter (for North America) and the Bandai Namco Ep!c Club (for Europe).

Bandai Namco was originally going to just send actual physical cookbooks to a select few that entered a contest to win and actually got accepted. Perhaps fans kept nagging the publisher to sell the cookbook, so now they’re offering a copy for everyone, but only digitally.

Cooking was a big focus in Tales of Arise just like all the other Tales of games, so it makes sense Bandai Namco would offer an entire cookbook with recipes from the game. In game, players can cook food for their party and get buffs to help them when adventuring.

In related news, Tales of Arise has shipped and sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide, a couple months after its release this year.
