I was one of those fans who was upset at the fact that Namco Bandai quietly retired Taki, the original kunoichi (female ninja) in Soul Calibur V. Namco Bandai has announced her return, however, in the latest game within the series, Soul Calibur: Lost Swords.

Taki, who is now in her mid-forties, was replaced by her student Natsu in Soul Calibur V. Despite the fact that she’s getting a bit up there in age, she can still rock that one piece leotard like a champ, easily one of her most recognizable features. She will be joining Soul Calibur: Lost Swords later this month in Japan.

Alongside the announcement of Taki’s return, Namco Bandai has also confirmed that the game will be released in North America and Europe sometime later this month.
