X: Rebirth is an ambitious, single player space simulator from Egosoft, veterans of the genre. We got a further look into the world of X: Rebirth in this developer diary titled “Exploration.”

The video demonstrates the versatility behind the long range scanner, a device you’ll be abusing as you traverse the emptiness of space. Toggling the scanner on will give you a heads up of objects that could be heading your way – or possibly just floating adrift in space.
