DMM Games has announced (via Famitsu and Ryokutya2089) a new music rhythm game for the Nintendo Switch in the latest Famitsu magazine.

The game is titled Garu Metal, and it’s being headed by Shuuhou Imai as scenario writer and overall supervision, as well as Tak Fujii returning to game development as executive producer. Development is roughly 60% complete, and the game will have its public debut at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

DMM describes the game as a “hardcore metal” story featuring high school girls, while also being filtered through an adolescent lens. It has a sci-fi flair to it, as well as music-rhythm components and some adventure game mechanics to boot.
