Bandai Namco Entertainment have released both Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session!.
While the former is now available for Nintendo Switch, the latter is available for PlayStation 4. Featured above, you can view a new launch trailer for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun!.

In addition, a bundle has been released with the Switch console and a Taiko Drum Set peripheral- akin to what the arcades used.
Meanwhile, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! has Ranked Mode, letting players play against Ghost Data from other players online. Players can also unlock “costumes, sound effects, and greetings for the Taiko no Tatsujin mascot, Don-chan, and play Guest Session with popular characters such as Heihachi from Tekken, Pac-Man and Hello Kitty.”
Finally, an online contest will be available at launch – Tobidase World Taiko Fest. Players can unlock. “By competing for Festival Points, participants can receive new greetings, costumes, and songs depending on how many they accumulate during this festival.” There is no information if these are exclusive to the event, or if they can unlocked during regular play.
