Sci-fi looter shooter SYNCED gets an open beta in December

SYNCED

Publisher Level Infinite and developer NExT Studios announced SYNCED is getting an open beta next month.

The “rogue-looter” shooter is getting an open beta from December 10th, 2022 and runs until January 15th, 2023. New content releases are planned for every week, and you’ll be able to grab the beta from the game’s official site, as well as from Steam.

Furthermore, console ports for SYNCED were announced. While specific consoles weren’t confirmed, they will come after the PC version launches for Windows PC (via Steam).

Here’s a rundown on what is included in the beta, plus a new trailer for the previously announced game:

SYNCED Open Beta

The Open Beta includes a wealth of content from the full game, including a variety of characters to play as, enemy Nanos to fight, and environments to explore. We’ll also be offering a number of PvE and PvP game modes, including Dead Sector Runs, Elite Runs, and Nerva Runs. A host of community events and in-game activities offering sweet prizes will also take place during the Open Beta period, ensuring that players will always have something exciting to do.

The Open Beta includes both PvE (fight against AI) and PvP (against both AI and players) content. However, as SYNCED is primarily a team-based game, the Open Beta does not include any strictly single-player oriented content.

While the Open Beta provides an excellent taste of the core SYNCED experience, we expect the game to continuously change and improve significantly before launch. As such, it will not be possible to carry forward any progress made during the Open Beta, as certain elements or game systems may no longer work the same way.

We appreciate every player who decides to take up arms against the Nano hordes during the SYNCED Open Beta, and are offering a number of rewards that will carry forward to the full game. Head to the official website (syncedthegame.com) for a breakdown of pre-registration rewards, and keep an eye on community channels for details on additional permanent rewards.
