Square Enix has finally released a teaser to showcase their upcoming NFT game, Symbiogenesis.

The teaser doesn’t show much other than what appears to be a floating island, likely to be a hub world for the game.

In the video description, they state a few things that can be expected from it. Such as how there will be over 10,000 NFT characters, and they’ll be sold as each of the six chapters are released.

According to Square Enix, Symbiogenesis is a “Narrative-unlocked NFT entertainment” game. As players progress through the story, they’ll be able to unlock the individual character’s stories as well.

Finally, they announced the full website will be launching on March 17th. So full details for the game can be expected then.

Symbiogenesis is expected to launch sometime this spring. It is set to be their first blockchain game released in 2023 as the company plans on pushing more into this space.
