Ronimo Games have confirmed that they’re working on a sequel to Swords & Soldiers, their popular and critically acclaimed 2D strategy game that has seen release across a multitude of platforms.

The original Swords & Soldiers launched for the Wii in 2009, after which it got a high definition port to the Playstation 3, and eventually the PC, Mac, and iOS platforms. The sequel puts you in the boots of Redbeard and his plethora of viking warriors that set out to save (or conquer?) the new world.

More information is being promised for the Game Developers Conference that is scheduled for next month. Also, the game will be playable at PAX East in April.
