Nintendo has announced Nintendo Switch sales top 92.87 million units worldwide, news confirmed in their latest financial earnings report.
The new milestone that Switch sales top 92.87 million units worldwide was reached as of September 30th, 2021. The most recent milestone was 89 million units sold as of this August.
Nintendo also updated their the top ten best-selling first-party Nintendo Switch games:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 38.74 million copies
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 34.85 million copies
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 25.71 million copies
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 24.13 million copies
- Pokémon Sword/Pokémon Shield – 22.64 million copies
- Super Mario Odyssey – 21.95 million copies
- Super Mario Party – 16.48 million copies
- Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 13.83 million copies
- Splatoon 2 – 12.68 million copies
- Ring Fit Adventure – 12.21 million copies
Nintendo also confirmed some further sales numbers for other titles, including the first sales figures for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD:
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – 7.45 million copies
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD – 3.6 million copies
- New Pokemon Snap – 2.19 million copies
- Mario Golf: Super Rush – 1.94 million copies
Lastly, it’s worth noting a total of 681 million copies of games have been sold for Nintendo Switch to date, worldwide.
