Nintendo has announced total hardware sales for the Switch have topped 830,000 units during the week of Thanksgiving in the United States.
The new milestone was reached during the week of November 24th through the 30th, making it the best week of United States sales in the console’s history.
Hardware sales were boosted mostly by the recently launched Switch Lite, as well as the variety of Black Friday deals – like the Switch bundle that included a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
“Holiday shoppers see the value of Nintendo Switch, which offers a vast library of games for every type of player,” Nintendo of America senior vice president of sales and marketing Nick Chavez in a press release. “Whether shopping for the ideal gift or picking one up for yourself, the Nintendo Switch family of systems provides options that fit every play style.”
Lastly, cumulative hardware sales for Switch in the Americas have topped 17.5 million units.
