Nintendo has announced the latest Switch and Switch 2 hardware sales, and to no one’s surprise their hardware keeps selling well.
While Nintendo Switch 1 has sold 154.01 million units, Nintendo Switch 2 has already sold over 10.36 million units since its global launch back in June 2025.
To compare, Switch 1 only sold just shy of 1 million units in the 3-month fiscal period since their last postings and Switch 2 sold a whopping 4.54 million units.
The trade off in sales makes sense when considering most potential Switch buyers are now opting for the newer Switch 2 hardware, and that games are becoming exclusive to that platform.
