A new edition of Street Fighter IV has been announced, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012. The new edition comes with a balance patch, 5 new characters, 6 new stages – and if you buy it at retail you get all the DLC costumes for free, which Capcom says is a $40 value.
The new expansion by itself as DLC will be $15, which still nabs you the characters, stages and balance updates – you’ll just have to get the DLC costumes separately. So who are the five characters? They’ve confirmed four so far:
Elena
Rolento
Hugo
Poison
The 5th character has not been revealed yet, he/she can be from another Capcom franchise. According to the panel at EVO regarding the DLC, the tease was that “this character has never been in a Street Fighter game before”, so take that to ponder over.
