Nintendo have revealed the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be from ARMS.

Revealed during a stealthily released Nintendo Direct Mini today, the first DLC character of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 (as part of Challenger Pack 6) has been revealed as a character from ARMS.

No other details were shared at this time, leaving the game’s roster wide-open for speculation. Mii Fighter costumes for Spring Man and Ribbon Girl had been available in game.

Should either of them become a full DLC character, this may open up characters previously dismissed due to being represented as costumes. More details, and the full release of the character, will come June 2020.

The Nintendo Direct Mini does mention in its introduction, that due to the coronavirus (officially known as COVID-19, or Chinese Flu to some) that some dates and information may be subject to change.
