Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Bandai Namco Forge Digitals announced Super Robot Wars Y will get its second DLC pack next month.

The second DLC pack, “Awakening of a Soul”, is set to launch for Season Pass owners on February 3rd and for all owners on February 5th.

Alongside the second DLC is a free update, version 1.2.0, which adds a new content, gameplay enhancements, and more.

Here’s a brief blurb on the new content, plus a trailer:

DLC 2: Awakening of a Soul introduces five new playable units, sixteen new Area Missions, ten new Onboard Missions, and one new Assist Crew Member. The DLC features content inspired by titles such as Kotetsu Jeeg, Dynamic Planning Original (Getter Robot – The Jet-Black Drifters), and Brave of the Legend Da-Garn.

On Feb. 2, all Super Robot Wars Y owners will get the free 1.2.0 update, which adds “Special Mission: Battle Rush 2” an evolved version of Battle Rush that now spans 20 waves, an expansion to the STG Memory system, and Status Cap Unlock, which raises the pilot stat enhancement cap to +50 and extends the pilot level cap from Lv.99 to Lv.150. 

Super Robot Wars Y has been available globally since August 2025 across Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PS5.
