Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Bandai Namco Forge Digitals have announced Super Robot Wars Y, the latest in their ongoing crossover mecha strategy RPG series.

Super Robot Wars Y is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PS5 with a worldwide release set for later in 2025.

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y is a grid-based tactical combat RPG that brings units and pilots from a variety of anime together to battle their mutual foes.

This game is the newest addition to the SUPER ROBOT WARS series which started more than 30 years ago. Players will have to place their units strategically and command them to defeat their opponents. To strengthen their heroes and overcome the next challenge, they will be able to upgrade their units and train their pilots with the credits and resources earned after each mission.

Players will be able to enjoy impossibly epic battles where units and pilots from all the series clash together! Be ready to embark on a lore-rich journey in this new saga of SUPER ROBOT WARS.

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will include many units and mecha series such as COMBATTLER V, Aura Battler Dunbine, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Season 1, Majestic Prince, Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre, Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection, Getter Robot Arc…and more!
