    Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment have announced a Super Mario Bros. movie sequel, though it won’t come for awhile.

    The currently untitled Super Mario Bros. movie sequel is set to premiere on April 3rd, 2026.

    Further details weren’t shared, however, Illumination Entertainment will begin the actual animation of the film soon, in collaboration with Nintendo.
