Suicide Squad battle pass leaks and causes outrage, Warner Bros bans discussing it

Suicide Squad

Leaked images of the upcoming title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League indicate that it could be a live service type game with a battle pass.

The source of these leaks according to Twitter user @the_marmolade originated from Reddit/4Chan, though the Reddit post has since been deleted.

Assuming that the leaked image is true, then it shows a mission based structure with loadouts prior to these missions.

Of course, the feature which has garnered the most attention is the inclusion of a battle pass. Sources close to VGC claim that this will only be for cosmetic items.

This has caused a bit of an uproar among the gaming community with many in the Twitter thread voicing their displeasure to the news. The backlash hasn’t gone unnoticed by Warner Bros. Games, either.

However, it seems that the company is deciding to ban those to attempt to discuss this news on their Facebook page rather than directly addressing it themselves.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is launching on May 26th, 2023 across Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
