We’ve learned that Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda is set to make a “special announcement” at this year’s MomoCon.
The storied and punk game developer will be joined by NIS America staff in what they’re calling the “Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s 20th Anniversary Spectacular” panel. The panel will go down on May 26th at 7 PM Eastern, where the creator will make the aforementioned announcement.
“This year, we at Grasshopper Manufacture are celebrating our 20th year in the business,” Suda said in a press release. “We are honored to have been invited here to MomoCon for such an auspicious year. On May 26, from 7:00 p.m., I will be holding a panel on the theme of ‘20 years of game development.’ I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in Atlanta at the event, as well as to my first time in Atlanta.”
Both Suda and his game studio Grasshopper Manufacture are developing Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes for the Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find my thorough and direct-feed video preview for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes here. I also had an excellent chat / interview with Suda regarding the title, which you can read here.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
