GPTRACK50 has shared the first full trailer for Stupid Never Dies, the new “BLAZING FAST GROWTH” action RPG by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi.

Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies puts you in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.
Steal enemy abilities, customize your undead body with bizarre upgrades, and experience fast-paced combat packed with innovation.
Developed by GPTRACK50, a new studio formed by veteran action game developers, Stupid Never Dies delivers a single-player 3D action RPG experience unlike anything you’ve played before.
A Bizarre Tale of Love and Ruin! Just What Is Davy Fighting For?
In the aftermath of the Great War, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction and monsters rule the land.
At the bottom rung of this society is Davy, a lowly zombie scraping by in a deserted shopping mall. One day, he discovers the human girl Julia frozen to death in a freezer…and falls in love at first sight. Motivated by his newfound crush, Davy finds his purpose in undeath: “Somehow I’m gonna bring her back to life, and then…I’m gonna ask her out!”
In a freak snack-cident, Davy then steals a meal that grants him strange and powerful new abilities. Spurred into action by the eccentric Dr. Frank, who dreams of restoring humanity, and supported by a cast of shady yet endearing allies, Davy sets out for the monster-filled dungeon with his new powers.
Can this lovelorn underdog reclaim the world for humanity, revive Julia, and maybe even get his first girlfriend?!

- “Style Eat” — Devour enemies to steal their powers – Zombies devour their enemies! By consuming an enemy’s core, Davy can steal their abilities — and even his appearance changes. In addition to the default Zombie Style, players can acquire 10 other styles, for a total of 11 unique styles. Master each style and take down your foes!
- “Body Hack” — Modify your own body – Zombies do not hesitate to modify their bodies! Players can equip over-technology–enhanced weapons and parts to the left arm, right arm, head, and legs. Choosing which parts to equip can mean the difference between victory and defeat!
- “Davy Burst” — A full-stat power surge – Paint the world with Davy’s delusions! This special power activates after repeated attacks and meeting certain conditions. Davy’s imagination overwhelms the visuals of the real world, dramatically boosting all abilities!
Stupid Never Dies is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 5, with a release set for sometime in 2026.
