Studio Ghibli-Inspired Puzzle-Platformer Eternal Hope “Into the Shadow World” Trailer

Eternal Hope

Doublehit Games have released a new trailer for puzzle-platformer Eternal Hope, showing how the Shadow World looks, and functions in gameplay.

As stated in the press release (via email), Ti’bi must travel between two worlds to save the soul of his love in this puzzle-platformer “inspired by the artistic stylings of Studio Ghibli.” The Shadow World is akin to purgatory, “a mirror dimension that serves as a portal between the living and the dead.”

This is not a perfect mirror however, and Ti’bi can use this to progress. The Shadow World is home to the An’mu, creatures that are more friendly than they first appear. They can aid Ti’bi in solving puzzles, travel, protection, and more.

However, other An’mu have lost their souls, and have become savage. “A friendly face may quickly become a dangerous foe. After all, there is always more than meets the eye in Eternal Hope.”

You can find the Into the Shadow World trailer below. Editor’s Note: You can also find the game’s announcement trailer here. Based on this, it appears the new video is suffering a rendering issue, and the game usually runs at a much higher FPS.

You can find the full rundown (via Steam) below.
