Wideload Games’ action adventure title Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse will reportedly be heading to Xbox One.
True Achievements reports the game will be ported by Aspyr Media, the publisher of the original game. While currently unavailable, they report the game will launch March 16th for Xbox One. Specifically they report “Xbox consoles,” though it may only be playable on Xbox Series X|S thanks to backward compatibility.
Launched back in 2005 for the original Xbox (and later PC and Mac), the game saw players control a recently revived zombie. Having been killed 20 years later by his girlfriend’s father, he now swears revenge against his industrialist grandson with an army of the undead.
Players pummel foes, either finishing the job or turning them into zombies. He can use his limbs and organs to create explosive, or control enemies. Stubbs also has limited control over the zombie hoard.
The game’s 35 strong achievement list was also reported, and has a total of 1,000 gamerscore. Some of the achievements clearly have fun with the game being a port of an older title, such as “That didn’t age well” for completing the “painfully slow, forced tutorial.”
